Example of IF function

Lets take an example of a logical test to check if student has passed the exam or not. As discussed earlier that there are three portion in this function.

Here we have taken comparison criteria between marks obtain and pass marks in the place of Logical Test. We are comparing marks obtain in an exam entered in Col. C and Passing marks Entered in Col. B. If a student able to score more than passing marks (Value in Corresponding Cell of Col. C> Corresponding Cell of Col. B) then logic is true, so, function return to a value that “You have passed in the Exam”. If logic is False, then its return a value “You have failed in the Exam”.
